Pacifist game

ShadowShrike has started and interesting, and extremely tough sounding way to play Gothic. The rules for now are No cheats, no marvin etc.......and the tough part....NO attacking anything.

I have a few initial thoughts.....in no particular order.

Summon scrolls should be allowed, or you simply can't defeat the sleeper. There is no one in the temple to kill for you, so you game would end there. There are not alot of summon scrolls that would be useful in this game, so you'd mainly use them in the temple.

The orc cemetery will be another tough area, but I think do-able. You would have to lure the orcs outside it for someone to kill(no biggie). Then you would have to lure the inside orcs to Baal Lukor, which might be a problem. ALL the orcs inside would have to be lured to him before you talk to him. Everytime I have played, he basically stops fighting after a certain point.

Has anyone ever tried to lure the guards at the free mine back to Gorn for him to kill? I think he would, but I have never tried it. And I mean the guards outside the mine after the takeover.

Another tough one would be getting the cog/gear in the old mine. Jump in the pit and run being your best option :rpglaugh

Thanks for the thread and the tips !

In case you're interested I'm keeping a brief log of my attempts here. It's not totally up to date yet, but I'll try to keep it moving along steadily until I finish this (which I'm now determined to, and I think I can do without making a single combat move ).

Shadowstrike, this is great. Keep it coming. I think it may be worthy of the gothic fanfics.

Thanks guys ... I've updated it again, hope it's fun. UOSU seems to be being a wee bit unreliable in that I'm losing a handful of shots I was pretty sure I took, but there's no big loss.

I've got some pretty fun ideas-- some neccesary to get through the game as a pacifist, some just crazy escepades-- for once I've got a healthier character...
