OK well I am probably one of many who just
can't wait!
Will this forum help people out their remain patient and wait for this game?
Hmm...
Will the Gothic Release be international?
I hope so as I don't want to see Australians
having to wait an additional month to get the
game.
Will the english version be enhanced in anyway?
Yes this post is all over the place and
has no logical flow, but that how I feel the
Gothic English wait has affected me.

We'll have a review of the non-public english demo up at RPGDot within the next few days - this will answer some of your questions. I can't, since Garrett has gotten the demo and isn't allow to distribute it, not even amongst our team here, and we fully respect the concerns of Piranha Bytes in that regard. But he will surely inform you about differences, if there are some.
My best guess would be that the english version will have the latest (1.08h) patch incorporated, as well the one for a specific graphic card that seemed to have problems. If there will be more - well, maybe Piranha Bytes can answer that...

Lets hope they don't release it in August, then it would be Arcanum, PoR2, Divine Divinity and Gothic all in the same month. |

I don't care if it's released in August, September or whatever month this year. As long as it's released in English somewhere this year
btw, those English voice samples sound really good! I've played the German demo and was impressed with the german voice acting. The English ones are equally good, so far. Keep up the good work lads!

Of course I can wait. That doesn't mean that I'm happy about it, though.
I'll probably buy it as soon as it hits the shops (in Norway, that is). I just hope it will be out before Morrowind and Arx Fatalis. |

I wouldn't think knowing it is version 'i' would spoil anything. Is it the same demo as the German one, or did they make a few changes? I had always just guessed it was the same demo in English. |
