Learning points

Hi. I started a game and saved it after I learned to skin wolves. I also achieved level one, however, I have not received any learning points to distribute in my attributes. My wife played and saved her own game, however, when she visited the same person that I did to learn to skin wolves, he told her to come back after she had more experience. She is farther along than I am and she is a level 2?????????????????? Can you help us? Thanks. Fred

Hey there Fred (& Mrs Fred),

Welcome to the forums,

Are you both playing entirely seperate games on the one pc-machine? or do you play for a time "each", some game code triggers cannot be enabled twice, check in your saved games loading screen to see the hours and
minutes run times, are they "overlapping"? Did at any time, even at the start
of the game, both use one of the same "saved games? It a weird one but by cross comparing your stats screens you may find a clue.

Welcome to the forums!

This could indeed be a problem with multople games being played parallel. I would suggest you install the game a 2nd time in another directory. Then everyone of you has his/her own G2 instance.
Learning point troubles are rare. You should get 10 points per level.

Thanks so much. I will take your advice and install the game a second time in another directory. However, I did not receive any learning points until I reached the second level for which I received 10. My question is "How do I distribute them among different attributes"? thanks again in advance. Fred

Find teachers.
10 points more or less wonīt break the game. After the tough beginning it gets easier and easier.
I donīt remember, maybe you start at level one and the first level-up is to level 2.

You start from 0.Every time you kill a monster or accomplise a mission you get some experience. After you pass some certain amount of experience points you level up and the game gives you 10 Learning Points. With the L.P.(learning points) you can learn skills or have some teachers learn you something or you can rise up your strength, mana and dexterity.
So you have spent 5L.P. for hunting skill and your remaining L.P. are 5.In that way you cant learn anything that costs more than 5 L.P. or the trainer will reply "come back when you are more experienced" meaning that "come back when you have more Learning Points".

Thanks for all of the help. However, I am in level 3 and my Protection for weapons and projectiles remain at zero. Also, my Attributes for strength is still 10, my dexterity is 11 and my mana is 10. Shouldn't they be higher being as though I'm in level 3? Please help as I am thinking of starting all over. Thanks in advance. Fred

You have to learn these attributes as well. Talk to everyone in the city and the harbor and you will see who teaches what. They will teach dexterity, strength, majic, which increases your mana, ect. It is all done with the learning points, and there is someone different for each one, and for different levels as well. Some can teach you up to 30 and no more. But by then you should be able to find new teachers. If say you join the militia, the soldiers will teach you now. Same for the other paths, once you join, you have access to new teachers who would not talk to you in start of game. Hope this helps.

Hi. It's me again. Can you tell me what the differences are in "Performance Quality" in the options menu. Thanks much. Fred
