It is not a huge difference between agp and pci-express version ( 2.1GB/s vs. 4GB/s band speed) but the last is more efficient for much more performance and satisfaction in Gothic 3 You can buy an 7800GTX (or a cheaper version ex. 7600) if you can afford the price.

I recommand you 6600 because is cheap and it have Pixel & Vertex shader 3.0.

You mean a 6600 GT because a 6600 is not really fast. I think for complex PS 3.0 gfx the 6600 GT is not powerful enough. For almost the same price you get a X800 gto and it's faster in actual games but of course it has only PS 2.0 capabilities but that's no big deal atm.

Of course.GT or GT Extreme .
This is a very good card "in the war against" Radeon.
I played the latest games at max details (ex. Quake 4) without any problem.
It is my favourite graphic card (one of them....... )

Eat this

The 6600 GT is a real heater and it needs too much power, the X800 is much more conservative in this case and runs much cooler. But if you don't need to pay the electricity bill then go for it.

..and X800 is much more expensivee....
I prefer nVidia graphic cards in generally because I played a lot of games on Radeon cards (ex. X700 ,9600,9800) & I am dissapointed(for few of them) how they react

Finally i bought 6600gt 128mb msi.
Also I set from bios agp memory size 128mb.And i believe that i'm able to play many new games.
I choosed 6600gt because it's a cheap and good card.
The only i will say is that i play f.e.a.r 1280 resolution all maximum and it plays perfect!!!

Did you try both Gothics? A year ago there were compatibility problems.

GeForce MX 4000(it's the worse video card that can exist)
