Can I pay someone to make me an Elixir?

All:

I've got the ingredients to make a +5 dex or str elixir but I don't want to spend any Learning Pts trying to do it (I need more and better fighting skills). Is there someone in teh game you can GIVE the ingredients to and they can brew the potion?

Pikkon is correct; brewing potions is not a wasted skill. It repays itself many times over, especially if you hot key them

I thought they could not be hot keyed (sp?) unless you hacked the game a bit.

you press a key, and he will do an action.
like when you click 'm', he will watch the map.

if you hack the game, you can make something like; when you press 't', you will drink a potion.

That was my impression ... but then Corwin plays only mages, so he scorns hand to hand fighting *grin*

I can't assign 'M' to map. When I select that to be the key in the options menu, it doesn't do anything in the game itself. Hmm....

Do you have a map? You need to get one first...

I have 3 maps. When I go to the inventory screen, I can't assign them to any key. I can only look at it by pressing the left mouse button. When I'm not in the inventory, and I press 'M' - it does nothing.

I have noticed that the only active map is the one for the Isle itself. The city and valley maps are not hotkeyed.
