Missile Defense
   

Is there a way to fire a missile at an incoming missile without targeting it? How do you all handle missile defense? Basicly I have none.

You can set your ship's turrets to "missle defence" and the guns will attempt to blow them up. To be honest, once I dumped my M5 for an M3 Nova and got decent shields, I just let the things hit me if they could.

Hornets and Silkworms
   

But if one of those hits you your ship is in trouble. A Hornet will do 50K of damage. That's a lot. Especially for my Dragon. I want a capital ship so bad so I can jump into a Xenon sector and crush them!

You must be further into the game than I ever got because nobody ever shot a hornet at me.

I'm just in a wee M5 and some pirate shot a hornet at me. Of course it couldn't even keep up, so it wasn't an issue.
