Impressive blend of FPS + RPG elements making this a unique and action packed MMO. I've been playing since beta 4 and the game has only gotten better. Large scale battles, defending of territory, powerful items to gather, strong community, GM events, an evolving storyline, excellent gameplay and much more.
Not for the casual MMORPGer... |

With tons of bugs, and a leveling treadmill longer then lines at you local fairpark for the best rollercoaster, ya its tons of... well no it isnt.

to be honest. large scale battles not only lag you to hell on sight, but also tend to freak out the server(s). everyone will have laggy gameplay and the game engine will produce most funny things. the game itself promises much but you will get only furstration in the end. the powerful items are a MUST HAVE or you better not try to engage in combat. without the "standard rares" you will do exactly NO dmg, no matter how good your actual player skill would be. the events are nice... so to say and kick the servers to hell again. the storyline is nothing less but boring and it's not really evolving much. it's more like: "hey, let's give them another piece of our storyline to hold them at bay". the gameplay is nice but it's has more bugs than a forest. sure, you'll get used to it, some day or the other, if they don't drive you out of the game in the beginning.
but i have to admit, that the game CAN be fun and if you are looking for counter strike kiddies in mmorpgs you will be in the right place. so have fun. i had some, but it's definitly over now (after 2 months of exhausting leveling). |
