| Membership of thiefs guild |

Do someone know how i can use marvin-mode or somethine else to join the thiefs guild?
I reinstalled the game (due to a format c , and copied back my savegames (has made a backup of the Saves-directory). Now when I revisit the thiefs guild, the woman in there tells me "Your deadline has passed, you shouldnt have come back". And then attacks. The strange thing is that the other members down there help me defend myself. |

First, to answer your other question... It is strange, but rather common, to see others aiding you in fights against their own. I played trhough the game twice, and experienced it both times, as well as my friend.
As for the deadline, if you'd rememebr, you got a mission from Cassia to steal a certain object, and she gave you only 2 days to accomplish this. The dadline is obviously over. But, people that had problems of this kind say that running away helps - after you return, they don't seem to be attacking you any more. Haven't tried this myself, though... |

Hmm the only deadline I remember receiveing from her (that i know of) is the one when you get two days to decide wether to be a member of the guild or not, (im stil on chapter 2). |

Yup, this is a script-error ... the deadline she mentions is for joining the Thieves Guild itself. You can simply solve this problem:
- save your game first 
- goto thieves guild and talk to Cassia (then she says your deadline is over and attacks you)
- run away
- when you come back after a while she wont mention any deadline anymore.

Thanks a bunch. Worked like a charm. Just went in, talked, ran out, slept until next morning, now shes all friendly again  |
