| Mika dead, and another question |
|
First of all, I lured the Orc in the cave on the way to Akil's farm to town so the townsfolk would dispatch him.
I didn't notice until much later that Mika passed away during the fight. Does this screw me over in any way later on?
Also I found the weird herring, but inside was just a wanted poster of me or something instead of the stinky note. I talked to the fish monger and get no conversation about any note. Whats up with that?

If Mika has already helped you with the mercs on Akil's farm don't worry if not, you missed a side quest.
As for the stinky note, you may not be able to use it unless you 'know' about the thieves guild. Like getting the quest from Andre to dispatch them.
This thread belongs in spoilers by the way.

You don't need to know anything about thieves guild to use stinky note.
But stinky note is not in the cave on the way to Akil's farm but behind Akil's farm.Climb up the stairs and follow the path but not toward the Akil's farm but into the forest.On the left side is a cave with 3 bandits.There you will find herring and stinky note. |

I gotcha, I misunderstood. It's the stinking note you bring to fish monger. Just realized the note you said you have is your wanted poster. I just took for granted it was the stinking note you had when you said you got it out of a fish. That's a whole different quest.

If You are a thief and you do things in a certain way, then it is possible to
"buy" fish off the fishmonger with different "things" inside them ! !

Too bad you can buy them only once.
Later if you join the thieves guild it get's even better.He can buy silver chalices and plates from you for 50% of the price.
But the best is if you didn't reported Rengaru(I allways do it 'cause it's the easiest way to join them).Showing him secret headshake will give you +2 in dexterity. |
