leave Fargrove

First of all the game is unbalanced. The creatures spawn like madfire. The grave robbers in a group of 20 will hamper any character.

Wearing plate gives a negative penalty of about 150. That means they beat you to a pulp while you get an attack every 10 seconds if you have stats of 18 and armor skills at about 4. The guards don't have that problem.

In morrowind there's people all over the place. The world of Dungeon lords is a ghost world with nothing there. Even Neverwinter nights had more character interactions.

Talking with the mage takes forever because you have to wait for them to stop talking to move on with the next keyword. Keep a brewski handy for that conversation it can take awhile.

When you open chests you get alot of crap. Particularly there's little in the way of magic items or decent lockpicks. I want to know why all those grave robbers in Fargrove have so many lockpicks on hand but all of them are level 1. Geez.

The combat sucks until you get used to using the strafe and combinations. That can take awhile. Oh and the shield does come in handy for one enemy but when you're surrounded it takes the fun out of it for me anyway.

**** Spoiler ****

To get out of fargrove. Talk with celestine. Talk with the mage. make sure you get a letter from him without it you're sunk. The guards will finally let you in. talk with davenmoor. Talk with chambermaid. Talk with gilead in the tavern to find out where she is for sure. Talk with davenmoor. Get the patch at this point or you may not be able to go much further. Without it you're gambling with whether davenmoor will talk to you and give you permission.

If you're playing a mage/adept I recommend collecting as many lockpicks as you can and selling them to argus at the weapons shop. He is the only one in which the lockpicks can be sold over and over again. It may be the only way to get magic items readily. They don't seem to come out of chests very often. This has to be done before you install the patch.

If you are considering good RPG game play morrowind, neverwinter nights, or gothic first. This is a cheap substitiute in my opinion but you're welcome to disagree. Good luck.

Don't disagree. Turn the spawn rate or difficulty down.

Yes, well, you just don't have the skills required to wear plate - so don't. I don't see this as a problem at all - you need to put enough points into Heavy Armor to use plate.

Yep.

The patch fixes that.

after finishing all quests talk again with mage from the shop and ask him about letter, and he will give you the quest to take letter to lord Davenmore. After taking letter to the king you vill be able to leave Fargrove.
