Now this is awful!!!! I've just looked in my computer store and Neverwinter Nights was there... beautifull like i had never thought... and before the official Italian release!!!
then i looked at the price... it was the American version (and i don't know what's the difference from the English that will hit the store the 28th...) and it was sold at:
89.99€!!!!!!!!!!!
and it was not the collector edition, just the normal one...
so i decided to wait the English version (that it will be sold at 59.99€)... but my heart is still in the store... _________________ =Member of the NonFlamers' Guild=

I gather there is no difference in the English verion and the American Version. Occasionally this store in Montreal gets the English version of games and the Bioware games play no differently (at least Planescape and the two BG games).
The difference in cost I'm assuming is the cost of the importation.
But I could be wrong...it happens quite often _________________ We need a new bard. All this one does is sing and drink. |

well seriously spoken there is really a economic war between USA and EU... like in all the other parts of the world... if your money value goes down it's more convenient to buy from you... and vice versa... but i think that 30€ (28.8$ - near 20£) is a little bit too much for an "importation rise" _________________ =Member of the NonFlamers' Guild=

There was a difference in those games. The English and american-english languages are different, so they translated the ingame-text of those games (neither/niether, armor/armour, favorite/favourite etc. etc.). They also did the same for the manuals. I don't know if they do that for NWN as well. _________________ Kewl quotes:

That might explain why I didn't see it...Us Canucks still use the British way to spell everything, you sort of get used to seeing it both ways
Go Us!
You'd be suprised what the EU puts tariffs one when they get into a scuffle..The Americans too.....But 30 Euro is an insane markup...so the question is...How desperate are you to play the game??? _________________ We need a new bard. All this one does is sing and drink. |
