urgent!!!!!!.........robe of st.roris

has anyone found the robe of st. roris. this thing is awsome, it gives you a constant effect 15 health points and 15 fatigue points, and it goes over your armor, so you can wear both at the same time. the thing looks cool too. don't a wanna be a spoiler so i don't wanna reveal the location. if anyone has found it, was it difficult for you guys to kill the monster that was guarding it???

You need to patch your game to the latest version!

Do NOT listen to Mattias! The patch seriously messes the game up. I havenīt heard anyone have anything good to say about it. Personally I havenīt found the well-discussed robe, and even if I did, I wouldnt use it. Too easy then. Iīm currently at level 36, an armor rating of 132 and playing with a plugin that makes all the creatures harder. Not just more hitpoints, but better at fighting, tougher spellprotections, they are quicker and, well, harder... Itīs more exciting to know that you canīt kill an Ascended Sleeper in two hits. Fights with those can now take up to one or to minutes, and they usually drain my health to almost nothing. Without this plugin, I would look at them, and they would be dead. Wereīs the fun?
Nah, I like it hard...

(The patch makes the robe go from constant effect 15 hp/15 magicka to cast when used 15hp/15 magicka.. More of a challenge that way)

The patch made the game better for me, even though it didn't adress the game's real problems.

Yes I know. But I play unpatched. Guess I didnīt make that clear... I donīt like the patch, wich you might have guessed allready. People say that the enemy healthbar is great, but I like not to know when theyīre gonna die...
And, little goodness for a whole bunch of badness in one patch...

the patch

For a friend of mine with a an average PC, the game unpatched was extremely choppy, and loading took forever, even with the No Disc thing or the safe disc remover. but after patching he said he jumped at least 10 FPS up and he has experienced small amounts of loading time compared to before the game was patched. he tells me the game runs very smooth compared to before. While my high-end machine seen no difference in FPS at all.

I do like the healthbar, and I do like the added difficulty. i just wished they would increase the FPS far more, and fix all the major bugs.

Seems like Bethesda is being cheated by their beta-testers...

I'm currently a level 43 player. i applied the patch when I was level 33.

I also use the Morrowind Optimizer, found at www.morrowind.nm.ru
The Optimizer really boosted my FPS...only if Bethesda applied some of these extremely useful techinques to better the performance of morrowind from their own gamers.

Why, thank you
Now, if I only plaese could have something so I donīt have to re-save all the plugins, I might actually consider patching...

I hate that too. Only (fastest) way to fix it is to open all your plugins in the editor, and choose "combine plugins" in the file menu. That way, you'll have one bigass plugin that works for 1.1, without saving each individually.
Only reason I use the patch is the health bar, actually. I fixed all the other bugs that mattered to me using the editor or console.

Uh, to stay on topic, robe of st roris! Something.
