Temple of Akbaa, part Deux, after crypt

Ok, that dam ysilde thing kicks my butt every time! I've tried incinerate, fireball, slow time, project lightning... doesn't seem to phase him! Straight combat is out, he's too fast and does too much damage. Anyone got any tips for me (not the tactics used in the demo, I don't believe that will work anymore)? Perhaps I need to do something else first? I havent been below level 6 yet.....

There is often several options in this game

Do you remember how you got out of the temple the first time? If you used the passage that leads directly to the Gobelins outpost (where you started the game from), then you can use the same passage to get to the temple and avoid all the creatures you're currently fighting (there is a hidden switch that opens the gate).

That's a way of doing it. Ylsides are really tough, even later in the game. There is a spell that can reduce their speed though...
