Regarding the next patch; it might be unofficial

It seems like DreamCatcher is bailing out on this game. I caught this post over at the Typhoon Games boards.

I have Known D.W.Bradley for Quite Sometime. Going back to the 80's. I was a Beta Tester for Sir-Tech and Beta Tested the THREE Games Bradley Did With Sir-Tech 1.Heart of the Maelstrom 2. Bane Of The Cosmic Forge and 3. Crusaders of the Dark Savant. This man Has TALENT I can You Assure of that. Unfortunately,For this Game He Had to Settle for DreamCatcher as the North American publisher.

I have just learned-From the Horses Mouth-that IF DC Does Not Bring the DL Forums Back and release the Next patch HEURISTIC PARK WILL. They Will do it on their Own. So--Please, Let us STICK in there and Do what We can to Help Bradley, Chukk22,and Crew Get this Game back "ON-TRACK!" We Should Know,in the Next Day or So,Which way DreamCatcher is Going to take.

It looks like we have another Wizards & Warriors on our hands. Hopefully HP will be able to release the patch without any problems from DC.

If the devs make the patch it'll still be official.

I wouldn't be quite so negative. There was always the possibility that the publishers will drop it a la Temple of Elemental Evil but there's no use worrying about it until it happens. The post seems to more heavily suggest that in the case such a thing might happen D W Bradley will support the game than that the game is likely to lose publisher support.
