Dragon Snappers you mean?

The most annoying creature in Gothic. Hmm. The new fly types in the add-on that explode when you kill them. In G2 it's probably Goblin Skeletons. Those small buggers are impossible to see and quite powerful in the beginning. In Gothic 1 there is no doubt. Most people would say harpies, and they come in second, but nothing beats the damn bloodhounds. For some reason they give the same xp as a snapper, but are waaay harder to kill because they can block and block and block forever.

Bloodhounds = 2 bolts and bah.

Goblins = My nightmare espiecially if more than 8 and at the start

@Topic: If the game was plain, it wil give us the right mood same as Gothic1's

And also, get real, a bloodhound can smack a pack of goblins in no time. Even black goblins. You have to remember that bloodhounds are mid-range creatures, while goblins are lower range creatures. They couldn't even harm a bloodhound(you can take out the entire black goblin cave before even getting admitted to the 2nd class(templar, guard, fire magician, mercenary)).

I used to think they were annoying, but if you smack a few rings of protection on, they do like 1 damage per hit.

Harpies make THE WORST NOISE IMAGINABLE. I grind my teeth listening to those things and my gameplay deteriorates to a frantic "MAKE IT STOP!! MAKE IT STOP!!" level.

Swampsharks make a cool sound. It's very low and full of bass. I could barely hear the swampsharks before I got a subwoofer for my computer. Now they shake the desk.

I agree with you on that. I usually have the volume pretty high when playing, so the music comes out very good. (My computer is standing in a room with almost sound-proof walls, very nice.)
It's horrible when I'm not prepared for that sound. They should give a warning for it in the manual, right below the epilepsy warning.

I hate Harpies and Seekers. Neither are very tough but the Harpies sound gets on my last nerve, and the Seekers moronic boasting about me dying gets old fast. The first time I heard "there he is" it was quite unnerving. The death scream of a Zombie does not exactly make me sleepy either lol. But the one sound that really makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck is in G1. There is only one spot I know that triggers the sound.......leave the old camp and go to where Urshak is battling with the orc warriors(where the fire dragon is in G2). The path runs along the back wall of the temple(don't come to the temple from the bridge leading from the bloodhounds) and as you get about half way along the wall you'll hear a sound that seems like something a dinosaur fluttering it's throat would make. That sound gets me everytime.

The Seekers actually have quite a lot of damage in the add-on.

Also, I agree on the "THERE HE IS!!!".. it litteraly makes me jump every now and then, if I don't expect it.

Every time I hear the seekers say "There he is." it reminds me of Voldemort from the first Harry Potter movie. After making that connection, it's hard to take them seriously.
