Spikes? or something like that?

I will keep short.
They (spikes (sp?)) suppose to help open the doors. How to use them?

Spike can unlock doors if you hack into a computer system. But they do not unlock doors by being used directly on them. You have to put points into security skill to pick locks. If you can pick a lock when you highlight a lockde door there will be a lock in the center of the three blocks. The first block is a sword and lets you attaemt to bash open the door, the second block lets you try to pick the lock, and I have no idea what the third block does since it has always been empty for me.

As you can see there is nothing about computers, and I have the same empty third square.
