An update on the Gothic 3 site about the creation of orcs -> I still don't know what to think of it. I still would have liked to see that they didn't make such a hard change that can't go unnoticed. I mean: How the heck are they gonna explain that Ur-Shak (I believe that was his name) now has a total different look?
I just hope that they still have a great storyline, cause that was what made Gothic a great game.

I can't believe what I just read,is it true that ,when we are going to play we aren't gonna be the same hero?,if that is true then this suks ,literally! 
I loved the game and still crazy about it,but if this is true then I'm gonna jump off the roof for waiting 2 years for nothing,the story made it so fascinating and if it's gonna be somebody elsee rather than our nameless hero then I don't know what I'll do,maybe I'll go assasinate the fool that presented the ideea of not putting the hero!
PLEASE TELL ME THIS ISN'T TRUE,IT IS JUST A LIE!

That bs. His appearance will only be updated (after all we have a new engine with much better graphics), but he will still look like the hero in G2. Only better.

I'm relieved,there was not any source,it was on same topic placed by one of you guys,and noone comented it,so that would mean he didn't lied,I dunno who wrote it,I was so shocked that I didn't remembered,if he is gonna look a little different like he's beard or hair modifyed,that's ok but I ment if it will be the same guy
btw, you guys are real fast
real gothic fans like me 
hope it comes out soon and I'll soon get the expansion pack too

lets not exaggerate...I just need to see if there are new replies on the gothic 2 general forum... I only check this page for something like three times per day.Its pefectly normal.You know like checking daily how boys at the farm are doing.You can never tell if the militia or orcs will come..We must be ready.I'm sure this ain't anywhere near addiction. IMHO, I think that if they keep the same form of the hero It'll be very nice. I just like that funny funky form of his, maybe it became a part of me

I wish you would be able to change his appearance how you normally should be able to. Not his actual face, but his hair and facial hair, etc. |

The character from gothic 1 and 2 doesnt look like the type of hero that can take on creatures and slay animals he looks more like weakling that collects Rice in the farm , they need to make him look more aggressive and barbaric looking specially if hes the warrior.
Maybe for the warrior type make him look barbaric and have muscles and if you're the mage make him have an average build and a mage looking haircut i dont know lol but he really looks wimpy from the first two games even his voice sounds kinda gay. |

Just because someone is a warrior doesn't mean they'd have that big of muscles.
Certainly no where near Arnold's look for conan or anything.
Being "fit" doesn't equate to simply having huge muscles, a warrior likely would be more like a modern soldier. Many modern soldiers aren't huge muscleheads, but quite a bit more slim, defined muscle tone for sure, but not huge. |

im not talking about just big muscles im talking about his face and voice , very gay is that the kind of guy you think would be slaying dragons? i dont think so if he can slay dragons then mud could too LOL. |

I like the main character! Everyone ingame is calling him a wimp but then I wipe the floor with them and they stop.
What is the name of the voice actor? If it was in the credits, I missed it.
(I did watch the credits, really!)
