| Missing statuette in NOTR. |

Need help trying to enter the monastery!
Spoiler:
I killed the goblins in the burrow where the first Greg's treasure was located but couldn't find the statuette that you need in order to enter the monastery.Where could that be?

huh? there was no statuete in original gothic 2 
but i haven't played NotR as mage so I can't help you with this, but I have no idea about a statuete.
btw what is the connection between Greg's treasure and that statuete of yours? |

Statuette is supposed to be in the cave where you dig the first Greg's treasure. One of the goblins must have statuette but all I found are some wooden sticks  Finding statuette is a faster way to enter the monastery (or you can pay 1000 gold and a sheep) :\ |

i think that in the addon you don't have to pay 1000 gold and give a sheep (thats how i became a mage - i suppose- ) |

oh well..I found out that the only way to retrieve the statuette is to cheat. I forgot to pick up the statuette just after I killed the goblins and when I returned to their cave again the corpses were gone (and statuette too). Allways check NPC's inventory!  |

I hardly believe that, because the same thing happened with the green relic I found in the swamp (in the add-on world). there was a chest in that temple, that needed a key. there was also a corpse of stone guardian, wich had the key ON IT. after hours of searching and asking for help on forums about the last relic, i finally returned to that place and guess what, the corpse was still there. with the key on it. so I could retrieve my relic.
but perhaps it's different about that statuete, but your corpse shouldn't dissapear anyway 
well, I'm just glad you did it anyway. |

Your dead body remained because you needed that key to solve an important quest, NeoCodex (I think). Normally the bodies just disappear after a while no matter if you emptied it's inventory or not.
