here's a solution.....i killed all the guys in the basement too and thought i was screwed. it just takes a little editing though.
go into the construction set and find that fyr guy under the NPC tab. double click on him and then click dialogue. there you can modify when he will say certain things. in my case, i just modified the script that told him to say goodbye after saying "now you must face the consequences" and deleted it. this solved my problem. instead of him ending conversation immediately, i could bribe him with gold until i got my reputation with him over 70. after you have a reputation higher than 70 with him, he will forgive you. oh yeah, you will have to save this file as another .esm file and make sure you load it with the other data files on the startup screen. after he forgives you, you cant delete the other mod you made, as you wont need it anymore.
hopefully this wasnt that confusing and you can figure out how to do it. let me know if it worked or if you need some more help. |
