Heh, well done and a NICE picture!

I did the same in Mages Guild of Balmorra and got the same message. My guts told me that "RELOAD RELOAD" after the incident And I did a reload.

The power of the guts... it is unimaginabl!

Just a normal Daedric Dai-Katana. I did summon a Golden Saint to help. Vivec must have knocked me down about a thousand times

Remember to trap his soul!

I found taking him down with hand to hand after he was drained for mana was easier than using a weapon.

And you don't really need him for the main quest either, that message is only if oyu wanna do it the goody goody nice way

Did you notice that after you kill him he only has one possesion: a Dwemer Artifact only worth 1 gp or something. I wonder if that is one of the relics that you need in becoming a God yourself. He mentioned something about becoming a god and needing a part of another fallen god. I want to be a GOD!!!

it's rather simple, none of the guys you get that message for really matters, but one, the guy that can fix that relic

If you kill vivec and take the artifact to the dwarf in tel fyr in the corprusarium he can fix it up for you so you have wraithguard, the same artifact vivec will give you if you go there by normal means and talk nicely to him, so really the only thing you need to do to accomplish the main quest even without being in the blades is kill vivec, go fix the artifact, go get the other tools and go talk to Dagoth Ur

Just use Black Hands Dagger. Takes 4-10 hits to kill him.

Yep, you can kill Vivec and learn how to use the item with the guy in Fyr's Tower, but the first time you try to use it, it will backfire. A lot. It will cause 201-225 points of damage to you. After that, it is fine.

Vivec's soul, trapped in Azura's star, is worth 5,000,000 gold. That's still only 1000 charges though. I wish I could find a weapon that let you put more than 21 charges on it.

How the hell do you trap peoples souls. I always try but i cant do it!

You cast Soul Trap on the monster you want to trap then kill them within the time limit of the spell. Make sure you either use the targetted version of the spell or get close enough for the touch version to work (in combat). You need to have an empty Soul Gem of a large enough size in your inventory for this to work.
