I'll make this one quick: do you absolutely have to lie to the freaky Twi'lek lady on Korriban and say you want to be a Sith in order to get the Star Map on that planet (and, presumably, finish the game)? Please don't spoil me too much ... if there is another way, just tell me the first step e.g. talk to so-and-so and reevaluate your options. I'm trying to play through without ever lying to anyone.

Well... you don't have to lie or agree to join the Sith, to get inside the academy. Remember having the "badge" will work as well, how you obtain it, is another story.

Hmm. I thought that the badge alone would work, but I took it to the guy at the front door and he said something like, "Great! You have the badge, now just take it to the lady and she'll give the approval for you to come on in." Of course I went to her and she doesn't seem real thrilled about letting me in unless I tell her I want to Sith out and destroy the world. Is there some conversation option I missed with the doorman? |

No, you still have to go through her, but you get a couple of other dialogue options and no DS points. Don't worry, you HAVE to do it.
