It is not necessary to unite them.

If zeant starts his youre a spy and attacks rutine, before you talk try to give him the orb from the mook, He will tell you to keep it then allow you to keep moving along the quest. After that one must do this everytime one must talk to zeant.

If you pay HeLi, your double agent status will not come out and you will not have problems with ZAnt at all.

I'm playing the double agent game, and I disagree a little bit with the post from the Guest above. I didn't pay off He-Li until well after I started playing both sides. I suspect the key may be the bribe - either for you to avoid He-Li, or if you do speak to here to pay it, and that you only get into trouble if you refuse to pay.

I believe that your reply assumes you reveal to him you're working for the T'Rang. If you don't do that quest, he doesn't do anything of the sort. I stopped working for the T'Rang at the point I'm supposed to do that quest, and have had no problem. I could see that annoying the Umpani, and I don't want to (this time, at least).

Actually and this was well tested nothing is for sure. Paying off Heli seems to up youre chances that you will not be found out but does not guarentee it. Their is a random roll that happens everytime you see zeant.
