The thieves guild's treasure |
|
When swimming in the harbor you will find a smal land after swimming a while, there's a cave there with a trap in it, is it here the thieves treasure lies? Or is it somewhere else? |

yup although you need the key (from giving lehmar's ledger). you probably already know but you need to disarm the trap by pulling the torch in the main cave |

You can also get passed the trap without disabling it. I actually didn't even know it could be disabled until just now. Getting inside is easier than getting out. You need to use your bow or cross bow, and slowly step as close to the trap as you can, then fire at the ground in front of you to make the trap go off. When the trap goes off, watch closely and when the spikes go back into the ground run quickly across. This will work, but it requires good timing. (It took me about 30 minutes to get out the first time I played the game.) _________________ I am the founder and former leader of a guild in EQ, retired member of The Code in EQ, original member of KOE in AOE2, past Corporal of EVO in MOHAA, respected veteran of UT 2003, a conquerer of all decent games, and an aspiring game developer.

interesting approach i didn't realised that it was possible. any time i tried anything like that i died but that's probably cuz my timing's pretty poor. all said though i think i prefer the idea of disarming it, it seems to me to be much easier |

The floor trap has a delay from the time it's triggered to the time the spikes come up. That means, just use a speed potion to walk right over it. |
