Wish me well

Come Thursday, I will be leaving on a one year trip to Osaka, Japan to "study abroad." So, uh, tell me about new games that are not Japanese, and wish me a good flight and stay, if you wish to. If not, well, I'm hurt but it's you who will carry the guilt. And I'm not trying to sound rude with the guilt...it was more or less a joke. With less underlined, circled.

Have a great time. Hope we continue to see you on here. I'm sure you'll be able to find some games. Enjoy your trip.

Dunmer-san, you leave us too quickly. Stock up on the sashimi while there. Oh, and my father lived there for 2 years when he was younger. Quite the place! I plan to visit when my Japanese is better.

My wife lived there for just about two years and she had a blast. But be ready for some pretty poor weather. Her memory was Cold followed by WET one week of nice then HOT and humid followed by WET followed by COLD. Oh yeah, there might've been a second week of nice in there somewhere *grin*

Oh yeah, one other small cultural thing, if you ask a question and the person 'sucks air' before answering in the positive, it really means no. Knowing this can save you many hours of frustration! It seems that it is very hard to say 'no' ... has something to do with losing your head if you said no to a noble or a samurai or some such *grin*

Have fun and enjoy the experience!!

Damn that sounds cool.

I wish I had the chance, but then again I probably would have been too chicken to go through with it...

Have fun!

There's nothing stopping you from posting from Japan. I've heard they have these devices called ... c something... com... com.... com-pu-ters ... and this marvelous form of information transfer. I think they call it the Internet.

You mean a konpyuutaa, right EX? Bon Voyage and good luck, King Dunmer! I'm jealous too. Grr. Send us info on all the mental Japanese games we'll probably never see - better still, send us the games!! Except the bus driving sims, those can stay.

Have a good time, DK.
