100% of the votes after 5 votes... looks like Black Isle had a real winner. But we all knew that.

I'd like to see another Planescape game... maybe using Fallen as the main character. She promises to go after Nameless, after all. Annah would probably go too. That would be a great game... a chance for true redemption.

Yes, exactly Val.

BTW very good idea to change this forum form BG to Dungeons and Dragons CRPGs.

Myrthos' idea, my forum name.

POR2 has its own forum, so it's not included here. Heh... honestly, I completely forgot it when I made the poll... I guess that says something since I do my best to remain impartial and finish all D&D CRPGs....

Icewind Dale gets a vote... I'm thinking that those who loved Icewind Dale are those who also love Dungeon Siege and (to a lesser extent) Wizardry 8. I think it's cool how there are different play styles in CRPG gaming.

Featuring Dak'kon might be great also.

I'd like to see them all come back and go after 'the boss'. Well... except Ignus, Nordom, and Vhailor (I loved Vhailor, but... um... he's not exactly suitable for a rescue mission).

Annah, Dak'kon, Morte, and Falls-From-Grace would make a great key party... with new NPCs to join them on their way for the other two spots.

Yes well the game 'relatively' sucked on selling so it will not happen anytime soon I guess. BIS has trouble enough to survive is my guess. If Icewind Dale II doesn't make it, they close shop. But that's only my opinion.
Besides that another tormented game would be kewl

I voted for SSI goldbox games.
I think, but am not sure, that Pool or Radiance I played on a old mac years and years ago falls into that category.
I'm talking about a mac with a 20 Mb harddrive and 1 (ONE!) whole Mb of ram.
That was one mean-machine back then, hehe.
Anyway, I do remember that Pool of Radiance was based on D&D rules and that it was some kind of "special" or "gold" edition

1. BG2
2. BG1
3. PST
4. IWD.
5. Old Style Gmaes
1,000,000,000: POR2

NWN, and IWD2 will probably do very well on this list as well once they're released.

Yes, the original Pool of Radiance, Curse of the Azure Bonds, Secret of the Silver Blades, and Pools of Darkness were part of the gold box series.

They were great at the time. Perfectly linear, crappy graphics, horrific enemies overspawning, hideous sound... but they were D&D dammit! And compared to the old Wizardries of the time? Much better.
