Gothic2 in german tv

Oh no while going throu the forums i missed a tv report about the E3.
It showed Gothic2 in action: The hero was casting a spell and changed into a sheep, after that he was running throu a city.

It was the 'neues' show one 3Sat.

Too bad that I live in the US and I can't watch the show, but I am glad to hear about the new "Transform into Sheep" magic.

it's like hexen II!! in hexen they had the "porkulator" and in hexen 2 they had the "sheepulator"

quite frankly i preferred the porkulator

And in Heretic there is the Morph Ovum, which turns you into a chicken.

Watch the flying chickens and pigs!!!

I loved Hexen and Heretic. I even have Shadow of the Serpent Riders and Towers of Darkness and Portals of Praevus, the add-ons...

...and the quality of this movie is very good, Zonk.

Thanks Jaz:)

one of the good points about HexenII and Heretic2 is that u can play it in Coop mode over the Inet.

The Hexen2 code is now public and a nice guy made a patch called New Hexen that gives the game color lights and fog and other visual improvments.

Oooo cool! Thanks for the info.

I fondly remember accidentally beheading several teammates while playing a Hexen II paladin . This sword had reach!
We always played Quake II in coop mode as well. Not enough games have coop MP mode nowadays...

I like the Cleric's final weapon in Hexen 1, the one that releases spirits. Its effect is really cool!
