This is great, thousands of monkeys are invading these poor people.

"The monkey is a tough opponent," huffed a police officer in Kagoshima, where the child was bitten in September by a monkey that eluded police. "He appears and disappears like a ghost. Today, he may appear on the top of a roof. Tomorrow, he may be somewhere else

"We couldn't capture him," the officer admitted. But, he added, "we couldn't have charged him either."

Maybe they should use a front door so the monkeys don't just wander into their homes.... or maybe the villages can don gorilla suits and put the little primates in their place- I know if I was a monkey and I saw a silverback coming at me I'd be leaving quick smart.

I do think animal control should come in and relocate them further up the mountain- and maybe some government supporrt could be given to the farmers and tall fences erected around the perimeter of the farms to try and keep the little blighters out.

But giving them food is definitely not the answer (I put out cat food once for a stray cat and now I have 6 regular visitors).
