Crash after Piranha Bytes Logo EVERY time.

Every time I start, it freezes after the Piranha Bytes logo completes. I don't know if everyones is like this but, my installer in in German. The box doesn't say anything about being in a different language and the manual is in English. Anyway, here are the system specs.

Compaq Presario 5012
Intel P-III 1 GHZ
256 SDRAM
GeForce II 32MB PCI MX200
DirectX 8.1
ESS Allegro PCI Audio (WDM)

I have no idea how to fix this problem, and I cannot seem to find any driver updates for my GeForce.

I had the same problem, but you can prevent the logo movie from starting each time by editing the Gothic.ini file in your GothicSystem folder. Look for the setting playLogoVideos and set it equal to 0 instead of 1.
