Another BG2 question (travel) |
|
I have the Umar Hills on my map after being given the quest by Delon, but it won't let me travel there... that didn't happen when I first played the game through. What's gone wrong? |

Eeeerm... If you haven't been outside the city just yet, and it's going to be your first travel to the countryside, you should go to the city gate district and travel from there.
Pardon me, if I got your problem wrong. _________________ - Druids do not fight with metal weapons! Sit here, and you over here. Put the elbows of your right arms on the table...

It wasn't my first trip outside the city, but I tried going via the city gates anyway, but with no luck. Seems to be a bug, perhaps. I started a new game (using a swashbuckler over a standard thief, which I much prefer) and I'm able to travel there now |

Yep. This seems to be the root of evil Maybe it really was a bug. I use Baldurdash patches that fix most of the problems that official patch somehow missed. _________________ - Druids do not fight with metal weapons! Sit here, and you over here. Put the elbows of your right arms on the table...
