it seems there really are not enough skill points in the game to be good at the bow and crossbow..im about half way through the game at chapter 3. i was wondering which of these 2 skills i should go into? or which is better? |

Bow and crossbow are pretty balanced. Bow is faster, crossbow has more punch. I´m not sure if you need to be bow master to learn crossbow.
Small hint: ALLWAYS carry a bow and a few arrows.

there are enough skill points to learn both, I'd learn crossbow first, it is better |

Dammnit!! didnt know this!!
I mastered Bow, then mastered X
but still, cant be using Xbow untrained for first 3 chapter (minimum). Just way too slow. Even with boosted Dex.
Plus, with Master Bow and high Dex, your shots hit so hard and fast, you can knock them back and hit them again before they can counter strike...
Level 9 I was pushing Snapper *just* out of bite range of me, can see their tongue and teeth they are so close before arrows hurls them back |
