| Gothic 2 expansion going to be in Polish and/or English? |

I read the update on Gothic 2's expansion but am a little confused.
The Atari UK is still going to release the version, but in Polish? Or English?
Or both?

i dont think atari will publish it there .Some polish publisher will do that probably and its most likely that the game will be in polish cos Poland likes to translate all movies and games in theyr own language , but there is a chance offcorse that its in english. |

Ok. Well, I hope that German to English translation that's going on I've been reading about all goes well.
Such a shame by Atari though, I thought they had the English already finished and now they're not even going to release it in the UK?  |

Hoo, watch out. As fas as we know Atari isn't going to release a US version. Atari UK seems to be still interested in releasing the UK version.

That is right, if Atari would get it's head out of its self; Atari UK would be smart to release it. They can do it, they have the rights to it, they really do have the English add-on sitting there collecting dust.
If it sells wel in Poland they see. You can bet your eggs that it will be released in UK. Which of course, is here in US too through GoGamer.com

Damn I wish i had taken the time to learn Polish...I should really know it considering i'm 1/2 Polish...maybe i can get my mum to translate the Addon!  |

well someone translated everything from that website where they say that Gothic 2 addon will be released in 15 juli, the language is in Polish so not good news again for us. |

The one thing I was confused about was that Atari UK was going to release the UK version in Polish and/or English only.
However, just so I know for sure, you're saying that they are going to release a 'Polish' version soon, however may still release an 'English' version in the UK later on?
I live in the US and would purchase it from the UK if it's in English, however the only other language I speak well is Spanish so that rules out German and Polish for me.  |

Koch Media will release the Polish-ONLY version; Atari UK may release the English-ONLY version. (Seriously, I hope I have an English/German combined version because the German voice-acting was much better. However, that didn't happen. ^^) Not exactly good, but hey, now we can hope!

Yes and yes. It's fair as well because the Polish original was out before the English original.

As far as we know Atari has no interest in releasing a US version, so it seems it's not coming to the US. But things can change quickly and Atari isn't telling anything so we might be wrong after all. But the way things look now, it's not coming to the USA
