| Help needed on Dreamworld Quest |

Everyone keeps saying that you can kill the minataurs no problem with the lightning staff but because of the necklace I'm "silenced" (cant do any magic). I cant go back to the begining because the game keeps overwriting my saves so I cant go back to the beginning and start again - I would have to start from about 3-4 hours play previous. Please Help!!!  |

Hmm... looks/sounds like one of those situations where you need to cheat  .
The "soft" cheat version would be to go to the options menu and drag the difficulty slider all the way to the left.
This will make combat very easy and you should be able to kill the Minotaurs with a couple of hits from a dagger or a bow.
The "hardcore" cheat version would be to switch to god mode temporarily. This can be done by bringing down the console by hitting the '`' key and then typing 'tgm' .
When done with the Minotaurs, you can simply turn god mode off by typing in 'tgm' via the console a second time.

Or bring up the console, click on the minotaur and type 'kill' (minus the ''). This does, of course, prevent you from getting the weapon or spell experience, but it's fast and clean  .

Thanks I try lowering the diffuculty first and then go onto the other cheats. I'm sure it'll get me through. Thanks so much!!!  |

You don't need to cheat to use the staff; it works despite your being silenced. I managed to do it and I'm playing a fairly pure mage.

I know that the staff is supposed to work while silenced. That's why I was asking for help. Anyways - I've got past that part now so thanks for your help!! |
