Cloth shirt and pants use? |
|
What is the use of the shirt and pants (other than estetic) because there is no armor bonus or something? |

No. Well maybe except one. If you are playing with an female character and you speek to people naked they won't talk to you jsut say things like "Don't you have any decency, put something on!"
Ofcourse you can also enchant them like any other piece of armour. And the exquisite stuff can have a really good charge. |

i wear clothes just to cover up the pathetic bestheda character models. the modeling is aweful & requires a little something to hid it from day one. i just wish you could purchase blankets so you could cover up the dead bodies of those you have just looted. _________________ "The origin of things, if things have an origin, cannot be revealed to me, if revealed at all, until I have travelled very far from it, and many revolutions of the sun must precede my first dawn. The models weren't that bad IMO. Just te way they moved and jumped, that always made me laugh and cry at the same time. |

personally, the jointing creeps me out. the characters are made of loosely connected sausage links. the arm sort of attaches to the body, which sort of attaches to the legs. i hate the way they look when only donning their fur diaper. i think the khajit look especially bad--once i forgot about a couple of sausages in my refrigerator and after a couple months they looked suspiciously like a khajit limb. i think the bestheda team must have had one of those balloon sculpting specialists in the day they were launching the morrowind project. sadly, they took the balloon creatures to heart, twisting them into the races of MW. _________________ "The origin of things, if things have an origin, cannot be revealed to me, if revealed at all, until I have travelled very far from it, and many revolutions of the sun must precede my first dawn. For me they looked preety realistic and well I didn't have the feeling that their legs will fall off any moment, or that I'm playing some game wich was one of the first with 3D models and people had still a lot to learn. Sure you can find better looking models in some games, but these ones look fine, and comparing them to balloon sculptures seems really unfair to me |

you don't think they look like a cheap rag doll?
p.s. did you ever run into a character named ann or andy? i am just curious... _________________ "The origin of things, if things have an origin, cannot be revealed to me, if revealed at all, until I have travelled very far from it, and many revolutions of the sun must precede my first dawn. the character models were fine imho throw a bit of armour over top and it was all good ... what really sucked was the faces and hairstyles!!! seriously some of that was attrocious... _________________ NIL MORTIFI, SINE LUCRE

@ShadowWolfe, i totally agree. thank azura that there are helms & masks in MW. the sad thing is that the only way to save the basic model is to hide it under armor & clothes. _________________ "The origin of things, if things have an origin, cannot be revealed to me, if revealed at all, until I have travelled very far from it, and many revolutions of the sun must precede my first dawn. Faces were my favourite part of Morrowind models Altough I must admitt that hairstylles didn't look too good, but I could stand them.
Ann and Andy? Nope. That's not a name game developers like to give to their characters when they have things like Sugar-Lips-Habassi to use
@txiabxyooj at any point, the models do not remind me of cheap rag dolls, neither balloon scultpures |

@korzen, but they do remind you of sausages? it must be the fine texturing work... _________________ "The origin of things, if things have an origin, cannot be revealed to me, if revealed at all, until I have travelled very far from it, and many revolutions of the sun must precede my first dawn.
