When I'm talking about web-sites I'm talking about this kind of websites.
It's in Greeck but the website is very good.here.I took part in the desing.It only took us 2 weeks to amke it.If you are fast enough with notepad and frontpage you can do magic.There were 4 people.I was one of them.I used to work there cause my father know the guy who runs the magazine and website.

This has been mentioned a couple of times before, but I haven't seen a real answer to it. I see a dozen forums for lots of fantastic games, but all of them are platform-centric.
How about a forum for console RPGs? And I'm not just talking about Deus Ex 2 and Fable and such. I'm talking about the deep, involving games that get made by our friends in Japan.
I'm worried about console flame-wars as much as anyone. Take a look at some of the responses to reviews on Gamers.com, if you want an example of how bad it can get. From what I've seen of the RPGdot forums, however, the people seem to be mostly mature about their platform and games of choice. And most of the flamers on console websites aren't RPG gamers, anyway. Many console RPGs take just as much dedication and patience as their PC cousins do 
I would hate to see console RPG masterpieces being neglected on this site. I know there are many people who "wouldn't touch a console RPG with a 10-foot pole". This viewpoint saddens me, but I can respect it. Please don't force it, however, onto the millions of console RPG gamers who would love to have a mature forum on RPGdot to discuss their favourite games on. Let's open the forums up to ALL role-playing games, regardless of what platform they're on.

And judging from the response you've gotten so far, you can now measure the amount of apathy a lot of people here feel towards consoles. 
I wouldn't be opposed to such a forum. Console titles mostly get lumped into their PC counterpart forum, AOT, General CRPG and Adventure Games.

I agree with Val. There are plenty of good sites out there which specialise in console games. The majority of people here prefer PC Games. We do cater for console players, but it's definitely not our main demographic.

This is indeed a good topic for a poll on the front page.
Remind us to do it when the whole site is up and running again. We´re still working in the background to make things work.
Most of the staff is indeed not interested in consoles.

We did have a poll on people's favorite platforms late last year and the result was (posted by Myrthos)...

Note that this poll shows only the favorite platform. I could guess it doesn't mean that people aren't at all interested in other platforms. I prefer PC games too, but I'd have nothing against a console forum. But if there was indeed no activity in such a forum, then what's the point...

We will be deleting some forums in the very near future. Forums that did not see much activity.
The first one that has already gone is Deus Ex. Interesting discussions will be moved into the appropriate general forums.
We are open for suggestions regarding new forums. A Console RPG forum is on the list.
