Animal companions and familiars

First of all I want to say I absolutely love the tool set that comes with this game. It is soo easy to use I have made complete sets of armor/weapons/helmets/etc for each of my characters.
I woulud like to take it a bit further now. I want to know is there any way to edit the classes? For example the animal companions and familiars. I think every class should have a set. Take the paladin for example wouldn't it be sweet to have a set of familiars to choose from such as: baleful hound, guardian armour, the greater good planer binding familiar, and the silver dragon. Anyways thats my idea.
If anyone knows how to do this please let me know!

You could probably "simulate" an animal companion for classes that don't have them. For example, create an item that summons a pet once per day. Other than that, you might try messing around with the classes.2da file, but I don't recommend it because it could (1) potentially break the game, (2) would be hard, if not impossible, to include along with any module you make, and (3) I'm not sure if new animals companions can be added at all.
