Haven't you noticed all these extra guys in the game with unique names, but don't serve a bloody purpose?

Like Blade in the New Camp. I don't remember anything right now, but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

And about Huno. You say to him "I might have an order for you - I'll think about it."
What do you order from him??

And what about the other special dialogue, and special characters?

There are some loose ends in this game. It seems they simply had to cut out a lot of content to get it finished.
The biggest thing without a purpose is the bandit camp. Itīs completely useless. No quest, a hard fight and only a few XP.

Did you read this old interview with PB on Desslockīs site? Quite interesting. PB were still in this emotional mood at the beginning of the project. They wanted to implement a lot of other features. I suspect the project turned out too big and they simply had to use a shrink spell on it.

If you look into some of the files in the Gothic folder, you'll read some interesting dialogue. Some in english, and most in german.

I haven't been through every possibility with the quests, yet. But there's still a lot of german dialogue that hasn't been translated, yet.

So I'm positive that you're completely right, Gorath.

And about that Bandit Camp. Did you ever get to TALK to Quentin? When ever I go there, EVERYONE runs away from me. Even Quentine.

What about the Mud-Wannabe in the Sect camp?

He lives out in the middle of the swamp, in the middle of 3 Swampsharks.

Does he serve a purpose?

Never met him alive. I found a skeleton in the hud in the swamps.
I know there was a thread on WoG about him, but I donīt remember the details.

I made valiant efforts to kill all the swamp sharks before I went to talk to him.

Yeah, I noticed the skeleton, too. I bet he killed that guy for that hut

I got to that dude's hut and he tells you if you'd like to go around looting or something of that sort. didn't pay him any mind, but perhaps there is something with him joining you.

Ok I had him join me! Haha he makes it to the main camp (if you baby him along, waiting for heim to keep up and find paths to follow you) Then i climberd up a ladder to talk to someone (i forget who) and he followed me up thye ladder qand then when i climbed down he tried to follow me and eneded up falling off and killing himself.
It was a waste of time. He had a crummy weapon and nothing else to loot. The only two "allies" that i found worth whil;e were diego and Gorn ( they were mission specific)

That guy is supposed to be invincible until you get him to one of the Baals.
