FAQ for the night of the raven by Patriot
The FAQ isn't ready but here is a part of it.
The world is the same like gothic2 but the developers have made a new world called Jharkendar.The water mages from gothic1 have made an expedition to reach Jhakendar.There are pirates and bandits to be found in the new world.Saturas tells you about the world and about Raven an ore baron from gothic1 who is possed by Beliar. You must stp him before he enters the temple of Addanos where he'll become more powerful. Your goal is to kill him.
Quests:
And where do I find the other ornamentals?
There are still 3 f ornamentals to be found. One in each stone circle.
In addition Saturas gave you a map where you can find them. In each stone circle there are switches and you must press them if you want to take the ornamentals.
How do I get the ornamentals? And how can I defeat the stone guards?
There is always somebody to help you to defeat the stone guards:
1. At the stone circle south of Sekob's farm the farmers will get involved in the fight. You must do that in the day cause in the night go to sleep and they won't be there to help you.
2. You can ask Lares for help. He’ll lead the way to the north stone circle. He’ll kill all the animals in the way plus the stone guard.
3. At the stone circle in Lobart's farm doesn't appear a stone guard. You have to talk to Lord Hagen and he'll give you the ornamental.
How do I solve "missing people Quest"?
In order to achieve this quest you must kill Dexter. The stranger with the eye patch will help you to kill the bandits. When you kill Dexter you'll take a letter from him. When you read it go to Vatras a new discussion option will appear.
How do I get to the island and how do I come back
You can go to the island with the portal that the water mages have found. Just enter the portal and you'll get to the island. If you want to leave then enter again the portal and you'll get back.
I can't find Quarhodron's grave. Where is it?
The grave is in a cave near the Eremit. It's northeast of his hut.
What answers should I give in order to complete Quarhodron's question task?
1. Totenwächter
2. Kriegerkaste
3. Priester
4. Kriegerkaste
5. Gelehrte
6. Heiler
7. Das kann ich gar nicht wissen.
You can read the answers be twin the lines in the library in the North.
If I learn the language of the designers with Eremit, more LP are taken off from me. Why?
That is a well-known mistake/bug, which is repaired with the latest patch.
I can't find Raven in the temple of Adanos. What do I have to do?
There are altogether 4 mysteries.
1. Switch mystery (combination: left - right - center)
2. The correct course to be found (completely right)
3. The "light mystery" (you must use a torch/flare or a light charm)
4. Rhademes and the many switches
The right switch is in the right corner as you enter the the place with the traps.
Where do I find the "secret" articles?
There are altogether 3 "secret" articles, which one can be found in the game.
Magic x-bow: You can find it in the grave of Quarhodron in Jharkendar.
Magic elbow: It lies in Jharkendar, in the large ravine.
Fire elbow: The elbow can be found at the top of the second tower. You have to climb up there.
Is there a solution book for the Addon?
No but check the addon data base.
How can I use the claw of Beliars and why it disappears from my inventory when I'm a magician
After killing Raven you can get his special weapon: the claw Beliars:
- You can use it after you have prayed to beliars shrines. You can aslo improve it there.
- The claw has 20 stages to be improved
- If the player prays to beliar and he's level0-10 the weapon will be improved(1 stage).
- In every 2 stages the weapon gets bigger.
- When the hero reaches level 47 the weapon will reach the 20 stage.
- The damage and the special attack increase when you upgrade your weapon. If you are a magician you should give the weapon to Saturas cause you can't use it.
I've heard that Mud is in the add-on. Is that correct?
No but you can cheat and bring him to you.
If I give Fortuno the spirit change drink, he dies. And if I drink it, I die. Why?
In order to make the correct drink, you need to have the knowledge of removing the sting from the blood flies. You can learn it from a guy in the swamp or in the castle where you can find a letter next to Lord Hagen's room.If you want to find the key go to Engorm's room it's on a shelf.
If you know this ability the drink will no longer be deadly.
Can I also become a Water magician?
No ou can become one.Forget the screenshot with the hero in a water amge's robe.You can only join the circle of the water.
What are the guilds in gothic 2 add-on
The guilds are:
Pirate
Circle of the water
Bandit
And of course the same guilds of gothic 2.
I cannot find Samuel in the Pirate's camp. Where is he?
Samuel is in a small cave behind Morgan.
Can you return Lucia to Khorinis?
No, Lucia remains in the bandit's camp.
What can you tell me about the add-on
A whole new world, more animals, more guilds, stronger animals, more weapon ,arrows, runes and things to learn. You can check the official website if you want for more info but it's in German

That's the 10% of it.I've a lot of work to do this days.
The university'll start in a few days(I study networks) lso I'll make some transilations about english data base and for gothic3.net.Also the guys from PB's will send me some documents to transelate for the official gothic3 page.
I want to hear some comments first.Should I post the rest.

It was Nefarius, who gave you the map, not Saturas. And if you're too low level to enter the forest, where is the stone circle with one stone ornament piece, you can ask Lares to accompany you and help with it.
As I said, lots to check and work with still, but, good luck

When I say by patriot I mean gathred by patriot not made by patriot.Guess it's a misunderstanding  .Anyway you can see their names on their maps.

He's exactly there.The map doesn't have any mistakes.It's infront of the bandit's camp.First search better then make the commnet.Ofcourse Saturas must first talk to you about him  .

thanks, that must be it. I knew i should pach the addon but i never did that since there was no problem in playing the relese version. But now... I asume that the saves work on the packed version... |
