Gothic III,what about learning building your HUT? |
|
WHat about lerning building your own hut or a small bridge over a river or unpassable mountain(with secrets)???You could build your own hut near the forest or some where far from camps.ANd the rules could be :1)only one hut in every map,2)the stuff you need to buildit very expensive or limited(you have to find the most of them in secret places...) or both.3)this skill could be learned only if you join a speciffic camp after a speciffis chapter(like the 6th circle of magic)4) maybe bulding something or a bridge could be a SIDE-quest with lot experience and a unique reward!!!!! and everything you can imagine.....OR YOU THINK THAT I AM JUST TALING BULLSH*T???
lol anyway just a suggestino _________________ I come from space. From outer space! |

Nah, no building in Gothic 3. There's a lot of technical issues plus it just doesn't go. I would like to see the ability to buy private property though. _________________ OMG! WTF?! MONKEYS!!!!

Nope, neither that to be done.Because Lester in Gothic 1 after the fort mountain focus mission was now on the legal owner of the Fort mountain( you gave hime the paper deeds remember..)But in Gothic 2 he was just another poor guy sitting alone in a small valley near .....you know where. So if Lester with legal papers can have his own HOME why would you?The guys at JoWood are forgetting things and that piss me off.... _________________ I come from space. From outer space! |

Well, considering his property was taken over by dragons, would you want to live there? _________________ Just watch out you don't stress yourself out.

wep...That's right but he was standing near a Stone Golem at the Fort in Gothic1.As another member of this forum said ....I thought that dragons were nice and friendly creatures.Anyway I didnt see any dragon attack to anyone during the game ecxept in a video(attaking Old Camp) but Old Camp with the paladins inside was a threat to Dragons so its supposed to be a self-deffence.... Dragons are bosses the wont attack usual NPCs which they think they are nothing.Dragons wouldn't attack you if you didnt have the EOI to challenge them....
Can you see what my point is...? _________________ I come from space. From outer space! |

I don't need the ability to buy a house, but how about including BED ROLLS or TENTS so we can sleep in the wilderness instead of having to find a spare bed to sleep in, usually way back in town. |

Then there would be the problem of you being attacked by creatures. _________________ OMG! WTF?! MONKEYS!!!!

What about sleeping on trees (on a branch ).Sleeping in a tree should not give you full life(like sleeping in a bed) but at least solves three problems:
1.no going bak to town
2.no attacks by creatures
3.refuge from strong creatures when you are a "meatloaf"
Meatloaf is what I call my character in the early parts of the game, when encountering a shadowbeast or something similar _________________ WORK ORC |

Sleep in a branch very interesting ,reminds me titles like Lonely in the West,
Me against the Orcs,Me my Sword and the Others, a Lonely cowboy/warrior
.....very wild wild west screens lol
but if the nao on a branch dont fill s up your energy dont worry just sleep some more times and KAZOOM ...full energy
ecxept if you mean the issue to be more like use-then-expired
or if-you-brake-it-you-pay-it <-----(that was not EVEN close LMAO) _________________ I come from space. From outer space! |

I agree with everyone, sleeping in the wilderness should not heal you to full strength. If it's raining outside, you would get less health sleeping in a bed roll, for example, than if you had a tent. And if you set up camp in a cave while it's raining, you heal more. Getting attacked while sleeping outside should be random, similar to the early ultima games or during overland travel in the Fallouts. I think expanding the concept for 'resting' in Gothic 3 could be pretty cool.
Sleeping in a tree doesn't sound very comfortable, but if it keeps you from getting attacked by monsters, go for it |

hehehe imo the game would get too easy and too short if u could setup a tent or go on a tree to see some dreams i mean u dont need even healing potions anymore |

I dont remember (in Gothic games) seeing a tree inside the caves or at the tops of the high mountains....where the Black Troll lives and other vecius monsters.....Healing potions quicker than a visit to the "dream land" and ALWAYS WELCOMED.
healing and mana potions are the alcohool of Gothic.Get drunked and then fall down to floor _________________ I come from space. From outer space! |

Seems to me I didn't have such a good idea --sleeping in trees--
If any PB hears of this they will get the idea to make G3 a jump&run game .
Shivers up his spine anyone? _________________ WORK ORC |
