Noob needs a little help. |
|
I bought a used copy of Gothic from EB games for 5.00, it only had the CDs no manuel or anything, so forgive me if some of these questions are exceedingly stupid.
Picking up items: I managed to pick a couple of the items lying about, but it just seemed to be luck, clicking like mad to pick up one item.....any tip to what I'm doing wrong??
Patches: This seems to be an original copy of the game unpatched, are there some patches available somewhere, and if so could you please linky me.
Other than that the game is enjoyable, granted I only played a few minutes, didn't have much time, but enjoyable none-the-less, thanks in advance for any tips. |

O.k Shoveler,
1. There is a htm file in your gothic folder, it contains enough info' to get you
well into the game.
2. Use the search facility at the top of the page, it is powerful if used correctly
there are answers to all general questions contained in previous threads
(as you will know from your first post)
3. The Gothic games international versions 1.08j/k come allready patched.
4. over on the left is a link to the Gothicdot site which has much info's about
various aspects of the game.
Good luck and enjoy. |

Welcome!
You can download JemyM´s FAQ from GothicDot. It´s way better than the original documentation.
Gothic can be technicall improved on newer PCs. Details can be found in the FAQ section in our cheat guide.
The frame rate can be unlocked with an 'FPS patch'. The forum search should give you a few hits. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |
