| Making a career as Guard? |
|
Well i started playing Gothic before a day and i still haven't went throught the whole game. I don't have much experience but from what i know there is no way to not change from OC to the New Camp. Is there any way to remain as a guard in the OC and for example be involved in the attack over the New Mine? Or is there any way of becoming an upper level guard and getting the heavy guard's armor? |

When you become one of the guards you must do ceratain amount of good jobs for the old camp if you wont to have a batter armor.

You can't get the armor, that is one plate of a head. Like Thorus wares.
You're kicked out before that.

Join the New Camp when you can and get the Heavy Mercenaries' Armor. It's just as good as the heavy Guard's armor.
Or you can cheat. |

After I was kicked out of OC I went and talked to LEE. He let me join the NC and I was able to buy the Heavy Mercenary Armor. I then went and talked with the head of the water mages, was able to join thier guild, (not sure if this is a glitch or not), and got the apprentice robes, which while slightly less effective then the Heavy Mercenary Armor against attack has better stats against magic and fire. Now I switch back and forth between the two depending on the situation and soon I will be eligble for the better robes, which I'm assuming will be better then the Heavy Mercenary Armor.
