Gladius (Xbox) Review @ GameBiz

I haven't heard that LucasArt's Gladius had shipped but GameBiz has a review of this arena combat game. The score is 81% and here's the conclusion:
Gladius will keep the gladiator fans happy for hours on end, but if you’re not really in to the medieval times and the Final Fantasy / Pokémon type fighting, Gladius might not be for you. It’s a great game with a solid code, and anybody could enjoy playing it for a few hours; however it takes you so long to set everything up that for the average gamer, Gladius will get rapidly insipid. Breaching a genre that hasn’t been explored much is never an easy task to fulfil; however the gladiator battles in Gladius are a truly eminency experience. Go try Gladius at your local Xbox Kiosk, or give it a rent for a night or 2!

review of Gladius

The reviewer must be a history scholar saying that Roman Gladiator Games occurred in Medievil times.
People who review games that are based on a period of history should have some knowledge of the subject. Also , I have no comment as to his comparison to Pokemon.
