riddles in the dark

Even after going trough the game 4 times, some things stayed unclear.
One of them is that lousy column at the ruined monastery, which I haven't been able to do anything about. And why should I, when one can simply jump over to the other side, NOT to mention there is nothing in the chest..
The other is the finish of the chromanin quest, which brought me more riddles than answers(but I allways appreciated expirience )
The third one is that separated camp of thugs(they have a leader, but i forgot his name) near one of the focus locations. I spoted once, as a templar, that that's the hiding place of those weed-producers after I chase them out of that cave, but there was no posibility for me to talk to any of them, as they were in a killing mood all 4 times i payed them a visit
And the fourth would be the 'thing' involving Diego, Milten, Gorn and Lester

Can anyone put some light on these misteries?
Oh, and please state other peculiar things you've came along..

Forget about the mysterious column - even if it would fall into the right direction, you would not be able to walk on it.
The answer to the Chromanin is the way itself.
The seperated camp exists for your relaxation (while slashing through the thugs;)

Use the search function. The column thing has been discussed at least 10 times.

Ok..10x
But what about the 'thing' involving Diego, Milten, Gorn and Lester. Where do they fit in the strory:who are they(kings spies?), why are they meeting?
Or is it just ment to be a mistery?

And another thing; if you remember there' s a way into the castle cellar near the south gate, but between the first room you come into, and the castle courtyard you should have 2 keys, which are actually in the castle with gomes, or one of his assistants. Is that just a dead end like it seems?

The Fab Four's 'pre-history' was partially explained in the German Gothic pre-release comic book. They met in a cell on their way to the Colony, and they decided to stick together and help each other to find a way out of the barrier. Milten was a deserter who was finally caught when he stole food at the marketplace while Lester killed two guards who tried to arrest him for some minor offense. You don't find out why Diego and Gorn were jailed though (at least not in the comic book).

Besides, they'll be in Gothic ][ as well, so perhaps we'll get to know some more things about the four guys.

So thats the deal with Diego, Milten, Lester and Gorn. I'd always wondered but as I haven't got the comic ( which I actually knew nothing about and I can't speak german ) I was very confused. I always assumed they where the spies. once i thought that they could have Xardaz's spies in each camp because they all appear near the focus stones with something on their own agenda. Shows how much I know.

Hello,

I don't know notting about Diego. But i do know about Gorn.
In the game when you get real pals with teh Fab four, you get a short conversation with Gorn when you want to leave the New camp over the Dam (I wish I knew how he got so fast, I just left him in Saturas chamber), he will addres you. And will tell you a story about him. He was teh Kings General. But thanks to Robar the second and his mother the king got killed and he took the blame to rescue the Kingdom (or was the Worf with Star Trek the next Generation... ). Anyway he got chicked in. If you want a better version reply to this and I will try to get to this again.
