Need help recovering big IWD file :-(

Guys, I need your help. I feel like an idiot Here is the story.

I bought Icewind Dale twice already. First time I bought it on a full retail price, after it was released. I lost the game. I think I gave those CDs to someone... Have no idea. Quite recently I bought IWD again with discount in PC Best Buy series. I played it for a while and then my precious hated CD drive simply killed the first CD along with three other discs (not that important, though) before I found what's going on. I got rid of this CD-ROM and bought a new one, but it was too late I can't use waranty here because CD looks like it is clear that damage is 100% due to my own fault.

I managed to recover all files from CD#1 except the biggest one - DATA1.CAB. It is 477 MB big I cannot find it anywhere. I even tried using such p2p systems as KaZaa, and search either for it, or for disc image to pull out the required file - and nothing!

Guys, I'm desperate. I don't want to buy IWD third time. But I want this game. First of all, I love it. Second of all, I'm a collectioner and huge D&D fan.

What do you think - is there any chance I can get this file? Maybe someone have an opportunity to share this CAB with me? I see the problem - it's impossible to send 477MB by email, but then again, maybe you have SOME ideas how to help me?! Like uploading it somewhere... *Please*. I'm desperate.

Any assistance, including comments on my stupidity and bad luck are appreciated.

Have you tried contacting Interplay yet? They may be understanding if you provide proof of purchase.

I haven't, but then I have no - how do you call it in English - bill, invoice? This thing, paper you receive in shop when buying a game. I have no habit of saving them.

Anyways, my friend once was in quite a similar sitaution - only he was asking LucasArts for a couple of files for Jedi Knight 2. Guess what? I don't think they care
