Are you playing on easy, normal or hard?
I play on normal and I do not have many problems. Yes I sometime need to use resurection scroll or spell but it is mainly just because I do not want to reload and it is not too often.
Strange, what does you party looks like?
I do not know about way how to import your character and begin with it new singleplayer. |

Well, you probably choosed wrong tactic in developing your characters. Exp. points are devided according damage done by every single character. So you need to make space for other characters developement. Let them kill, let them do damage, give them best weapons, they will develop quickly.
I do not know if there are other amounts of exp. points when you play on easy than when you play on hard. If enemies have more hit points then answer is yes. But I think that they only do more damage. I also do not know if there are more enemies in hard mode than in easy mode. |

The only thing I can think of is if your main character is melee, then give him a weak weapon and let him take the hits, but let the rest of your group do damage to get their skills up. If things get hairy, then use your main character to bail the rest of your group up. "Powerlevel" them, essentially.
