Cleve Blakemore's Golden Era Games has launched official forums, where you cab chat about Grimoire and other games in development. |

No disrespect to you Druhin, but my personal feeling is that we should stop reporting news about this obviously vaporware game.
The author Mr. Blakemore, is having a big laugh at our expense. We should not do anymore to feed his ego.
If a demo is ever released, then maybe pick things back up. But until then, forget it. I am tired of hearing about this game and the jokes about its perpetual tardiness are not funny anymore. _________________ All shall hear the words of Karras...the words of Karras |

None taken, Elkston. I think it's newsworthy, however, so you'll just have to jump over those posts.
I think quite a few readers are interested and it adds a little colour when some days are nothing but a sea of boring console screens.
As for whether Grimoire is vapourware or a joke, I'm not in a position to judge. I think Cleve has put himself in a position where many folk find it hard to take him seriously but that doesn't mean the game isn't real (or not for that matter).
I stand to be corrected but I think I recall Garrett saying he had seen a demo or beta (apologies if my memory is incorrect on this). Anyway, it's my job to report about it and you guys can decide what you think. _________________ Editor @ RPGDot |

I can confirm the existance of a beta/demo I played several years ago. I think it may have already been a year or two old then too. It was clearly far from finished, sort of like a bare bones world and clunky interface powered by the engine from wizardy 6/7 (I'm not saying it was the same engine, just that it was extremely similar). I'm pretty sure that was what Garrett was talking about too. |
