How do you shoot a bow? I trained with Bartok(sp?) and have some skill with my bow. But, when I equip it, my character pulls the string back with an arrow notched, and when I press the left mouse button (the action button) he doesn't release the arrow. What gives? Do I need more training to shoot a bow and arrow? Any help would be appreciated. By the way, just got the game with some Christmas money on Saturday and I've been truly amazed at the detail of the game. Way to go Jowood/Atari. |

I don't know if your controls are configured differently than mine, but here's how I shoot a bow: equip it with one of the hotkeys (1-10), then ready the bow (pull it off your back) by pressing the hotkey. To draw the bow back, hold down the left mouse button (assuming you have any arrows). To fire, just release. I hope that helps. _________________ We're all gonna be just dirt in the ground. |

Depending on how you have the controls set up I push the number that corresponds with that weapon. For me the number 2. Then when enemy name shows up, I hold dowm Left ctrl and can click left mouse for shot or up arrow. He keeps shooting as long as ctrl is held down. _________________ =Member of the Nonflamers Guild=

You need to have arrows in your inventory, or nothing will happen when you try to shoot. |
