Hi, since I just finished playing wizardry 8, I have a question about weapons-related abilities: is it better to focus on one (of course longsword) or choose 2 or more? I mean, if it's easy to find good weapons in the game I think it's better to choose other minor abilities.

Well, what i plan on doing is getting the most out of this rpg because it's not the kind of game that comes around very often. So i plan on taking my time on all the quests, and maxing all my abilities out. According to alot of reading, it's actually possible to do so.
But, probably like you i plan on honing my close combat skills first, then working on my magic. Sure magic is pretty, but cold steel is great! |

I was wondering the same thing, i realy dont wanna be restricted to one weapon type becuase then i wont be able to use alot of the cool gear i find. So i decided to check the preset class skills to see if the devs think its viable to have multiple major minor weapon skills. Im happy to say that almost all of presets had 2 weapon skills some 3. |
