what r u playing right NOW? |
|
Since Rend had a rant and asked this same question "what are you playing at the moment?" I thought I would take an initiative for once and ask the same question to all of you since Rend started it
So, what are you playing right NOW? i.e. What is on yer hard-drive?
I will start off with the games that I am playing, in order of Priority, here:
CURRENT ADDICTIONS: (or, Titles that are Lots Better Than Drugs)
1. Baldurs Gate - Tales of the Sword Coast (almost finished for 1st time!)
2. Counterstrike (the most addictive FPS ever!)
3. BG2 - Shadows of Amn (to continue with my character in BG1)
4. Morrowind (woot! this will be on my harddrive for years!)
5. Planescape: Torment (first time i have played this; feels good!)
6. Warcraft 3 (not bad, not bad)
7. Deus Ex (great FPS / RPG game!)
8. Independence War: Edge of Chaos (awesome twitch-fest space RPG)
9. Star Wars X-Wing, Tie-Fighter, XvrsT, Alliance (with all expansions)
10. Emperor: Battle for Dune (a really excellent strategy)
Now I will state what i will play in the near future:
UPCOMING ADDICTIONS: (or, Holes in my Pocketbook)
1. Star Wars: Galaxies (an mmorpg to WOOT! about)
2. EVE (awesome space mmorpg)
3. Master of Orion 3 (strategy with some RPG elements)
4. Dragon Empires (looks pretty good, especially graphics)
5. Gothic (still need to buy this before its too late!)
6. Gothic 2 (need it, need it)
7. Planetside (i dunno, but will try)
8. Middle Earth Online (just gotta explore tolkien's middle earth!)
9. Fellowship of the Ring (upcoming tolkien single-player rpg)
10. Deus Ex 2 (woot! more customizations!)
11. Divine Divinity (next on my list to buy)
12. Arx Fatalis (waiting... still waiting... waiting...)
13. Eon of Tears (bible-rip-off single-player rpg)
14. Lionheart (by bioware!)
15. Mistmare (looks delicious)
16. Realms of Torment (torment me please!)
17. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (single-player rpg)
18. Trials of Ascension (so many good games, so little time)
19. Warhammer Online (kinda cool i guess, will try it)
20. i cant freakin think of any more, but there ARE more!
As you can see, I dont limit myself to rpgs only. Lots of excellent games in many genres. Please support the game developer and BUY YOUR GAMES!
OK guys and gals, I (as well as Rend) am really curious about what you are playing! So type away! _________________

You know, I'm not really playing anything now.
I was playing the Neocron beta pretty steady a week or so ago but not anymore. _________________ --

I don't know why I stopped.
I got a hang of the layout of the town after a day or two and was having fun but then the fun just stoped. Running around killing spiders with my knife a million times trying to raise my str high enough to be able to wear armour and trying to raise my dex so I can use guns just got the best of me. I couldn't even hack any chest because it seemed like they were always being camped.
*sigh* Why can't anything be as fun as UO was when it first came out. _________________ --

Might and Magic 7 (for the 146th time)
Disciples 2
Waiting for...
Arx Fatalis (Demo was great, but really short)

Simcity 4 (Hopefully more than just an improved version of 3000)
SW Galaxies (not a real SW fanboy but sounds fun anyway)
The Path to Zenrai (hopefully won’t be canceled like the last two MMORPGs I was looking forward to) |

Tribes 2
GTA3 ("for when I just want to kill something")
UT 2003 Demo (this is causing a slip in my grades...)
Past Games:
AC2 Beta (bleh.)

NWN (good fun. beat it 8 times.)
Future Games:
WoW (uncle works for Blizzard...I'm definately in this one!)
GTA Vice City (yay! now maybe it will run well on the PC!)

Oh and for the smart-alec remark....
How do you kill something more than once, everytime I kill something it disappears.

For the moment, Morrowind. The utter lack of direction that we're celebrating in this game is killing me. I'm mucking around, doing a quest here, stomping thru the woods there, talking to anyone with a name, but I'm not DOING anything. I truly love this game, but I'm losing the urge to play it.
I tracked down a used copy of Gothic at EB for $19.99. It's sitting on my desk, calling my name... _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=
