someone clear up some things? (gothic exp, etc)

Haven't posted on here for a while, but was just checking back to see details on the expansion and the 3rd gothic. (wish there was sort of a faq for this, it'd come in handy heh).

But from reading the front page here, it seems that the expansion isn't going to be coming out officially?

so the only way to play it is to get the german version and use the translation mod?

Also, what is this gothic II: gold/limited edition i've seen mentioned before?

that's about all the questions I have for now heh, gothic III's details look damn spiffy, can't wait to see it in action.

Add-on: At this point, nobody knows when or if a localized English language version will come out.

Gold: There is a German Gothic II Gold edition which contains both Gothic II and the add-on.
