DD: Where is General Alix? (Orcs are killing me)

Seth the guard (just south of Aleroth) sends me on a mission to find General Alix. He says he will mark the location on my map. After finally zooming out all the way I see a small circle just to the south of town. So, I start on my way there. I am basically automatically guided to the spot, but when I arrive, it's an Orc camp and they start in killing me. What gives? The spot on the map doesn't say this is where the General is. It doesn't say anything. Am I looking at the right map? Is there access to another map somewhere? I assume you only have access to 2 maps (the one small one you get that updates your postion by pressing 'M', and the one in your diary. I have finished most of the quests given me so far at this initial town, including freeing the mage Mandaleas' (sp?) mind from it's unfortunate mental condition. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry, never mind... I played a little further and my questions have been answered. Got to remember that next time.
